The 28th International Symposium Animal Science Days goes online
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Executive Coordination Committee in accordance with the Organising board, have decided that the 28th International Symposium “Animal Science Days” (ASD2020 - Padova, Italy, 23-25 September 2020) will be held virtually.

Manuscript preparation
Accepted manuscripts will be published as original papers in a Monothematic Issue “Future Perspectives in Animal Production” in Acta Fytotechnica et Zootechnica.
Please, follow the journal guidelines for manuscript preparation and ensure
that your paper is of high scientific quality and correct academic English. Original papers must not exceed 5,000 words, including Abstract, main text (Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions), References, tables and figures. A template to facilitate your work is available here.
Before submission, you need to register to the journal online system and set up your username and password.
Once registered, go to the login page, enter the online submission system, click on “New Submission”, select “Animal Science Days 2020” in Journal Section and go ahead with the submission process.
All papers will be peer-reviewed.
Please note that each author can be included in maximum 2 submitted papers and an author can be the presenting author of only one of them (not both).
Instructions for presenting authors
-
the Symposium will be held online via the ZOOM platform
-
download and install ZOOM on your PC prior to the beginning of the Symposium
-
on the day of the Symposium, follow the link that will be provided by e-mail before the beginning of each scientific session
-
make sure you have a PowerPoint presentation (4:3, free template) as you will be asked to share your screen. Time: 10 min for presentation + 5 min for discussion
-
make all possible efforts to have a good/stable Internet connection to avoid sudden interruptions during your presentation
-
to ensure that all presentations will take place according to the scheduled program, you may choose to prepare a video recording of your speech (maximum 10 min) using ZOOM and send it to marco.birolo@unipd.it, within September, 22. The video will be used in case you will experience connection issues the day of your presentation. Alternatively, a co-author of your paper could be ready to replace you in case of connectivity problems. However, the previous two options are not mandatory.
